At Elif Homes, we value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and home address.
• Payment Information: When you make a payment, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Usage Data: Interaction logs, device info, IP address, and platform activity.
• Uploaded Media: Photos, videos, documents, messages, and files.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate and improve our services
• Project communication and scheduling
• SMS and call notifications
• Process payments securely through Stripe
• Legal and security compliance

3. Phone Number Collection & Communication

We use your phone number to sign you in (via a one-time code) and for project updates and support.

Use of Twilio: SMS and calls are delivered via Twilio under industry-standard privacy safeguards. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies based on your project activity.

Essential, transactional messages (such as sign-in codes and project status updates) cannot be opted out of while you use the Platform, as they are necessary to provide the service. If we ever send non-essential or promotional messages, you may opt out of those at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing help@elifhomes.com. Reply HELP for assistance.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:

• Twilio — to deliver SMS and phone communications.
• Stripe — to process payments securely.
• Firebase / Google Cloud — to host our Platform and store your data securely.

As described in Section 5 below, we also work with Google and Meta for advertising purposes. Depending on where you live, this kind of relationship may be defined by law (for example, California's CPRA) as "sharing" even though no money changes hands — see Section 6 for how to opt out.

5. Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors interact with our site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools are active by default and may set cookies and receive anonymous interaction data (such as which steps of a form you complete) — we do not send your name, phone number, or address to these services. See Section 6 below for how to opt out at any time.

6. Your Privacy Choices & California Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to: know what personal information we collect and why; request deletion or correction of your information; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To opt out of advertising-related sharing (Google Ads and Meta Pixel, described in Section 5), click the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of our site (also shown as a pop-up on your first visit, which you can dismiss) — this takes effect immediately and stops these tools from being used for advertising purposes going forward. You can opt back in at any time using the same control, or by emailing help@elifhomes.com.

To exercise any other rights described here, contact us at help@elifhomes.com. We will not charge you a different price or provide a different level of service for exercising your privacy rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

8. Data Security

Encryption, secure storage, and access controls are used to protect your information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at help@elifhomes.com so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
